이벤트 참가자의 기대수준과 만족수준의 평가 : 중요도-성취도 분석방법을 이용하여

본 연구의 목적은 BEXCO에서 개최된 진시황전, 태극기 휘날리며 등의 이벤트 참가자들에 대한 중요도-성취도분석 및 사전기대와 사후만족 차이 분석을 통해 이벤트 참가자에 대한 전략적 관리방안을 제시하기 위함이다. 먼저 연구 과제를 이벤트 참가자의 사전기대와 사후만족의 차이, 이벤트 참가자의 사전기대와 사후만족에 대한 중요도-성취도분석 등으로 설정하였다. 또한 진시황전과 태극기 휘날리며 전의 참가자에 대한 집단 간 차이분석(t-테스트)을 위한 15개의 속성을 문헌연구와 전문가 의견조사에 의거하여 선정하였다. 실증분석결과에 의거하면 고도의 집중력이 필요한 Ⅰ사분면에 생활리듬의 변화가 포함되고 있다. 이는 이벤트 참가자에 대한 생활리듬을 변화시킬 수 있는 프로그램의 개선기회를 위해서 최대한 노력해야함을 의미한다. 또한 기존의 좋은 기대를 계속해서 유지하여 기대도 높고 사후만족수준도 높은 Ⅱ사분면에는 교육적 효과, 배울 수 있는 기회, 교양을 쌓을 수 있는 기회, 다른 것을 볼 수 있는 기회, 특별한 이벤트를 볼 수 있는 기회, 독특한 분위기를 즐길 수 있는 기회, 생활 변화의 기회 등 7개 변수가 포함되었다. BEXCO도 참가자도 중요하게 생각하지 않는 Ⅲ사분면에는 가족이 전시회를 좋아할 수 있는 기회, 가족과의 친목기회, 가족과 많은 시간을 보낼 수 있는 기회, 일상적 스트레스 해소기회, 동료와 전시회를 볼 수 있는 기회, 친구와 문화행사를 즐길 수 있는 기회 , 동일한 취미를 가진 사람과 만날 수 있는 기회 등 8개 변수가 포함되었다. BEXCO에서는 중요하게 생각하지만 참가자들이 관심을 가지지 않은 Ⅳ사분면에는 어느 변수도 포함되지 않았다. 그리고 진시황전과 태극기 휘날리며 전의 참가자에 대한 집단 간 차이 분석을 실시한 결과 일상생활에 대한 탈피를 제외한 나머지 요인들은 차이가 없는 것으로 나타나 동일한 종류의 이벤트임을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
This study suggests a strategic management of event participants through a differential analysis for expectation and satisfaction. Especially Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) was used for event participants to suggest a strategic management. Based on the empirical analysis of this study change of life pattern was included in quadrant Ⅰ which is needed for a high concentration. This means that it has to put more effort on enhancement of program to change life pattern for event participants. In quadrant Ⅱ seven variables such as educational effect, learning opportunity, chance of getting knowledge, chance for seeing different things, chance for seeing special event, chance for seeing special circumstance, and chance for changing life were included. In quadrant Ⅲ eight variables such as chance for enjoying exhibition for a family, chance for more close-relation for a family, chance for spending more time for a family, chance for releasing daily stress, chance for seeing exhibition with friends, chance for enjoying cultural event with friends, chance for seeing people who have similar hobby were included. However both BEXCO (Busan Exhibition and Convention Center) and participants were not interested in these variables. In quadrant Ⅳ, none of any variables was included. BEXCO treated this quadrant as important, but participants were not much concerned. The differential analysis for group between Emperor Jinxi and Flattering Korean Flag showed no difference for most factors except for escape from daily life. Therefore these two events can be treated as a similar one. This study indicated it is necessary to concentrate a management for low priorities which were selected from event participants.
