국내 법률비서의 직무분석 모형개발을 위한 탐색적 연구

The legal secretary has been a major area of specialization in the general secretarial field. It is important to analyze legal secretarial work in the legal office market which was opened to foreign competition. But there is hardly any study about job analysis on legal secretary in Korea. The purpose of this study is to develop the job description and job specification of the legal secretary in Korea through the work analysis and the related antecedent studies. For this purpose, this study analysed the legal secretary's handbook of A law firm and surveyed data from legal secretaries and managers of Human Resource parts of the law firm. Using these work analysis and literature review, the job description and job specification of the legal secretary were developed. Nine items were categorized in job description. And ten items required legal secretaries were grouped by knowledge, skill and abilities, and attitude in job specification. Especially, legal secretaries working with confidential documents and correspondents must require keeping secret in many circumstances. The result of this study will be based on the understanding of the legal secretarial work and the related future study. And this study will provide a guideline for selecting legal secretaries in law firm.
