전통복식의 미적 특성과 현대적 패션 디자인으로의 활성화 -새로운 브랜드를 위한 디자인 연구-

The purpose of this study is to select the compatible with modern design out of the aesthetic characteristics in traditional Korean costumes, thereby verifying the practical use. In global era, a variety of applied designing attempts have been made to gain publicity of the beautiful and outstanding culture of Korean costumes, In order to activate the Traditional costume design in a state of life style being remote from traditional context, there is a necessity for extending the applied designing range to various fields out of Saeng-hwal-han-bok(modern and practical Korean costumes) to meet the needs of diverse classes.For modern design to be used freely and easily in real life, it is requisite to (1) identify the aesthetic characteristics to be applied in modern life with Korean people's nature, (2)explore the diverse application of traditional patterns, traditional cloth, printing and character design, and (3)ensure the careful understanding and monitoring of designers and producers for practical outcomes.
