우리나라 제조기업의 기업간 정보교류 및 조직간 정보망 이용실태

This study empirically investigated and identified types of information exchanged between trading manufacturing firms in Korea. In this study, various kinds of information exchanged between trading partners were grouped into two broad types of information: Transaction information and management information. The results of this study show that the amount of transaction information exchanged is much more than the amount of management information. In addition, the kinds of transaction information communicated represented the largest amount, which included orders, delivery, receipt, transportation, and liquidation information. In the case of management information, it is found that the amount of quality information exchanged is the largest. This study also examined the effects of inter-organizational information systems (IOSs) and traditional communication media (TCM) on the amount of information exchanged. The results of stepwise regression analyses show that the usage of IOSs is the first significant factor that influences the exchange of transaction information as well as management information. Thus, it is concluded that IOSs may not complement TCM, but they may replace them as the main communication media. In examining the impact of the information exchanged on the dimensions of production performance, the results of this study suggest that different kinds of information seem to influence different dimensions of production performance.
