공공디자인 활성화에 따른 도시경관 색채디자인 방향에 관한 연구

With current activated public design, urban landscape of Korea has made rapid progress. Color coordination of signboards carried out as a part of public design is a clear example of such change of consciousness. Making color of urban landscape beautiful and unique is very sensitive work which should consider human's movement, space history and characteristics of urban formation, topography, culture, and the future direction of the city. According to the direction of urban color, the city may have happy, gloomy, comfort, or lonely expression. For this reason, urban landscape color should not overemphasize one side and requires to assess urban landscape exactly and have a long-term standpoint and coordination technique. Furthermore, in understanding landscape color design, some still tend to consider color design only for some elements of landscape. We should understand that in addition to exterior design work, it is a broad field which covers the management(process of urban landscape color) and guidance(management of urban landscape color) of landscape color. Furthermore, we need to see landscape from a holistic standpoint in the work. Accordingly, this study examined public design and color design of urban landscape and suggested the direction on the basis of basic composition of landscape color design and foreign cases.
