기업간 네트워크의 특성과 혜택간의 관계:산업 클러스터에 입지한 중소기업을 대상으로

기존의 많은 연구들이 중소기업간 네트워크의 중요성을 언급하고 있지만, 구체적으로 비즈니스 네트워크가 기업에게 어떤 혜택을 제공해 주고 이러한 혜택을 결정짓는 네트워크의 특성은 과연 무엇인가 살펴보는 연구는 부족했던 것이 사실이다. 본 논문은 기업간 네트워크 특성을 구조적인 특성과 관계적인 특성으로 구분하고, 이러한 네트워크 특성이 실제로 네트워크 내에서 활동하고 있는 기업에게 어떤 혜택을 가져다주는가를 규명한 연구이다. 이에 사회적 자본이론, 자원준거관점을 고찰하여 정보의 획득, 유형자원에의 접근성, 협력적인 지원이라는 혜택을 제시하고 네트워크의 구조적 특성(밀도와 중심성)과 관계적 특성(신뢰와 규범)이 혜택에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 실증하였다.가설검증을 위해 본 연구에서는 제시된 기준을 충족하는 클러스터에 속한 123개의 기업을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였고 회귀분석을 통하여 인과관계를 설명하였다. 분설결과, 대부분의 가설이 유의하게 지지되었지만, 네트워크 중심성이 정보의 획득과 유형자원에의 접근성에 미치는 영향력은 기각되었다. 끝으로 이러한 결과의 이론적, 실무적 시사점이 논의되고, 연구의 한계점과 미래의 연구방향이 제시되었다.
Abstract
The Purpose of the current study is (1)to identify and integrate three types of network benefits: access to information acquisition, access to tangible resources, and cooperative support from network members, (2)to examine the relationship between network characteristics and network benefits. we classify network characteristics as structural characteristic such as density, centrality and relational characteristic such as trust and relational norm, and then identify the role of those constructs as antecedents. Based on related literature review such as social capital theory, resource-based view, the conceptual model is proposed. In order to develop and test a model, we was empirically to examine how network characteristics can reinforce network benefits using 123 firms. Through multiple regression analysis, we found that network characteristics influence network benefits as expected except the relationship between centrality and access to information acquisition, access to tangible resources, Finally, We discuss several theoretical and practical implications, and suggest the limitations of this study and future research directions
