실험적 가상가치평가법(CVM-X)을 이용한 녹차밭의 관광가치평가: 하동군을 중심으로

본 연구는 하동군 악양면 소재 야생 녹차밭에 대하여 방문객들의 지불의사 금액(WTP)을 조사하기 위하여 실시되었다. 하동군은 이미 정부의 지역균형발전 정책에 의하여 녹차산업이 적극적으로 권장되고 있기 때문에 이에 대한 관광가치를 추정하고자 한다.실험적 가상가치 평가법(CVM-X)은 CVM에 의한 가치 추정에서 발생하는 편의를 최소화할 수 있는 대안적인 기법으로 받아들여지고 있다. 하동군 악양면 소재 야생차 녹차밭 방문객들을 대상으로 2005년 9월 2일부터 4일(1차)까지, 2005년 9월 9일부터 11일(2차)까지 모두 800부의 설문을 배포하여 606부가 회수되었으나, 이중에서 불성실한 설문을 제외한 597부가 최종 분석에 이용되었다. 본 연구의 결과 응답자들은 절단된 평균으로 볼 때, 1인당 4,848원을 실제로 관광비로 지출할 의사가 있다고 하였다. 즉, 하동군의 야생 녹차밭의 관광(관람비)가치는 이곳을 방문하는 방문객 총수에 4,848원을 곱하게 된다면 전체적인 관광가치 총규모를 추정할 수 있게 될 것이다. 이상과 같은 결과를 활용하게 된다면 하동군의 담당부서와 하동군 녹차클러스터 사업단의 향후 사업계획에 유용한 참고자료로 활용이 될 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
This study examines the intention of visitors willingness to pay the admission fee to a green farm. This statistically measures the tourism value of green tea industry in Hadong-gun, which is promoted as a region-specialized industry in accordance with the recent Korean government policy on balanced regional development.CVM-X is adopted as an alternative method to minimize the bias caused by CVM. By choosing this method, a total of 606 questionnaires were collected and 597 were analyzed finally excluding the spoiled and incorrect responses from 2 September 11 September 2005. As a result, the tourism valuation of the green farm shows revenues of 3,601 Korean won per tourist. So, the tourism valuation of Green Farm in Hadong-gun can be estimated by multiplying the number of visitors by that personal amount. Therefore, this study has some research value, as it statistically demonstrates the tourism value of the public property which is a prized regional tourism resource.
