진로상담교수제가 재학생들의 학습？취업 역량과 경력개발에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구- K대학교 진로상담교수제 중심으로 -

IMF 체제 이후 국내 기업들의 지속적인 감량경영과 이에 따른 기업조직의 슬림화 현상이 국내 대학사회에 고학력 취업난을 야기시키는 직접적인 요인으로 작용하고 있다. 심화되어가는 대졸 실업문제는 대학가에 취업문화라는 새로운 조류를 파생시키며 기존 대학문화에 일대 변화를 예고하고 있다. 2000년 이후 주목할만한 점은 국내 기업들이 ‘실무형 인재위주’로 채용방향을 틀면서 최근 대학가에 80년대 이후로 사실상 휴면상태에 있던 상담교수제가 모습을 드러내고 있다. 상담교수제가 그동안 기치돼왔던 주요 원인은 교수당 학생비율의 지나친 불균형과 비의무적인 시행, 취업의 수월화, 학부제로의 이행 등 다양한 요인을 내포하고 있다. 본 연구의 취지는 교육수요자 중심시대를 맞아 우리 대학생들의 성공적인 대학생활과 진로준비를 위해 그동안 대학들이 방치시켜왔던 상담교수제를 재조명하고 이를 효율적으로 운영하기 위한 방법 및 대책 강구에 초점을 두고자 한다. 따라서 본 논문은 현재 상담교수제를 도입중이거나 고려중인 대학에 대한 운영실태와 시스템을 조사하는 동시에 이 제도를 공식적ㆍ체계적으로 실행하고 있는 K대학교를 중심으로 재학생들의 진로상담에 따른 학습ㆍ취업ㆍ경력관리에 대한 역량향상정도 및 만족도 등을 실증분석한 후 이를 토대로 향후 이 제도를 도입하고자 하는 대학에 그 기법과 모델을 제시하는 데 목적을 두고자 한다.
Abstract
After the year of 2000, the remarkable point is that as domestic enterprises change their direction of hiring to "practical man-centered", the career counseling system of professor that has been in a period of dormancy after 1980s shows up at a university town recently. The main cause that the system has been evaded contains various factors such as excessive unbalance of student rate for each professor, non-obligatory effectiveness, simplifying of employment, and transference to the department system.The purpose of this study focuses on that the universities re-light up the career counseling system of professor that has been neglected and consider the method and alternative to operate efficiently for the successful university life and preparation of future way of students as entering upon the age of education consumers. Therefore, this study researched the system and the condition of operation on the universities that are introducing or considering the system now and, at the same time, empirically analyzed the degree of the competence improvement and satisfaction about learning, employment competency & career management according to the career counseling of undergraduates centering around the specific university that carry out this system officially and systematically. Basis on that, this study purposes on presenting the technique and model to the university that plans to introduce the system hereafter.
