빠르게 변화하는 비즈니스 환경에 적응하기 위하여 기업들은 핵심역량에 집중하고 나머지 부문은 아웃소싱을 하는 형태로 변화하고 있다. 이와 같이 아웃소싱이 보편화 될수록 기업의 내부, 외부단위 또는 그룹간의 관계에 의한 협업, 그리고 이를 통해 생성된 지식의 관리가 무엇보다 중요한 이슈로 등장할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 EIP(Enterprise Information Portal, 전사적 기업 포탈) 기능 활용이 팀의 지식경영 프로세스(지식공유와 지식활용)에 미치는 영향을 팀 특성이라는 독립 변수와 함께 알아보고, 팀의 지식공유와 지식활용이 각각 팀 성과에 미치는 효과를 실증적으로 연구하고자 한다. 자료 분석 결과, EIP 기능 활용은 지식공유 단계에, 팀 특성은 지식공유와 지식활용 단계에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 지식경영 프로세스가 잘 이루어질수록 팀 성과도 높게 나타남이 검증되었다. 즉 EIP 기능 활용은 지식공유와 같은 지식경영 프로세스의 초기 단계와 관련이 있으며, 팀 특성은 지식경영 프로세스의 전반에 있어 중요한 요소라는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 기업은 활발한 지식공유를 유도하기 위해서 EIP를 활용할 필요가 있으며, 신뢰감 있고 협력적인 팀문화를 구축함으로써 축척된 지식을 지식의 재창조에 활용해야할 것이다.
Abstract
Corporate would like to be more flexible for fitting themselves to the dynamic environment, sustaining only their core competency. Porter argued that corporate value chain is gradually unbundling. That is to say, corporate concentrates on their main resources and out-source the other parts. With this trend, Enterprise Information Portal(EIP) has been focused. EIP connects internal and external stake-holders, offering just single gateway and is known to help knowledge Management through personalization, communication and Cooperation function. This study investigates the effects of EIP function application on Team Knowledge Management Process with independent variables, Team Character. Also, effects of the each step of knowledge management process on Team performance are empirically studied. The results show that EIP function application has an effect on the knowledge sharing step and team character affects both knowledge sharing and knowledge application. Also, it is proved that the better knowledge management process provokes the better team performance. That is, EIP function application is related to the knowledge sharing that is the front step of KM process and team character is a very important factor in the overall KM process.
