영국의 노인보호서비스의 복지정책적 함의

The basic objective of the study reported here is to review the adult protection services in the UK and draw out its implications in the light of the protection of the vulnerable older people in Korea. The data required are routine data, which are collected most cost-effectively by way of documentary materials including the pieces of law, government circulars, codes of practices and policies that are potentially relevant. According to the results of the study, UK system is considered to be effective and efficient in terms of legal and policy context, multi-agency decision-making, and user perspective. A number of recommendations are made, including introducing Single Assessment Process (SAP) into Korea.
