초록
Client/Server 시스템의 登場으로 開發 環境이 急擊하게 變化함에 따라 情報 傳達 方法은 單純한 Text Base의 方式을 넘어서 象徵的인 Graphic 方式으로 轉換되어왔다. 이에 Multi-Media 技術의 發達은 開發과 使用全般에 걸쳐 開發者와 使用者 모두에게 影響力을 미치게 되었으며, 이로써 使用者도 開發者와 같은 技術的 智識을 習得하게 만드는 要素를 提供하게 되었다. 이러한 時代的인 變化 속에서 UI(User Interface-使用者環境)의 接近方式은 또한 開發者만의 視覺이 아니라 (이를 使用하고 評價하게 될) 使用者의 立場에 대한 論理的 接近이 必要하게 되었다. 이에 따라 같은 製品 같은 디자인에도 多樣한 種類의 UI들이 登場하게 되었으며 技術開發의 初期에 特定部類의 사람들에 獨占되어져오든 UI들은 점점 모든 階層의 使用者들을 滿足시켜나가는 方向으로 發展하게 되었다. 또한 實際로 多樣한 베이스의 UI 시스템이 開發되어 使用되어지고 있다. 그러나 Digital 베이스에서 基礎하여 始作한 UI 시스템은 그 基盤이 디스플레이상태의 結果物에 局限되어져 사용되어지고 있으며, 印刷媒體의 結果物에서는 微弱하게 사용되어지고 있는 것이 現實이다. 본 論文은 印刷媒體에서의 UI 디자인에 대한 現 狀況에 대한 硏究와 情報傳達디자인 側面에서 그에 따른 解決方案을 유니버셜 디자인(Universal Design)에 基礎하여 摸索해 보려한다.
Abstract
As the developmental environment rapidly changes with the emergence of the Client/Sever system, communication methods has grown beyond merely text base, to include symbols and graphic icons The growth of Multi-Media technology has influenced both inventors and users, providing the impetus for the end user to cultivate similar technical skills as inventors. As a result of these changes, it has become necessary for UI design to shift towards user-centered than the inventor-centered. As a result various styles of UI for similar products have competed in the market and are increasingly available to a wider variety of consumers. There are many different UI systems being developed today; however, because of its digital development platform, the UI system limits its use to the end-result, the actual display status. At this time, the end result of printed media has grown inadequate. This dissertation examines the problems and solutions of current UI design within print media.
