새로운 디자인 전달방식으로써의인터랙티브 디자인 매뉴얼에 관한 연구

This paper proposes an 'interactive design manual' as a novel way of design delivery with an emphasis on the change in the performance and the delivery of design. It was aimed to propose and evaluate the solution to successfully deliver the initial concept of the linkable or derivable design project from the primary designer to the people who execute and complete the final design. The essence and the historical transition of design delivery form were considered. The list of requirements was established from interviews with practical designers and a questionnaire surveys with design novices. The concept model of new design delivery form was established upon those requirements. It is a design assistance application in the web environment as an interactive shared space which supports the phased structuring of design principles and an intelligent algorithm. A prototype was developed based on the particular application scenario about the poster design project derived from the product design. Case studies for the evaluation and the reflection of the prototype were performed with practising designers and staffs of small companies. Design cases produced by designers were structured enough to help design executers with little professional design knowledge understand. It was found that the proposed interactive space had the effect of executing the derivative design project. The proposed delivery form has several meanings such as a new business model in design industry as well as the means of comprehensible communication between experts in the design process.(Keyword)form of design delivery, design execution, design derivation, interactive design manual
