도로 및 지형적 환경의 변화에 따른 택배 서비스 배송 규칙(ETD Rule)의 적용

기대 시간 배송 규칙(Expected Time Delivery Rule; ETD)은 최근 납기 우선 규칙(Early Due Date; EDD)과 Cut-off Time을 배송 시스템에 적용한 방법이다. 이 방법을 통해 고객이 원하는 시간 내에 배송되는 화물의 수를 증가시킬 수 있고, Cut-off Time을 조정함으로써 비용의 증가도 억제할 수 있어 국내 택배 서비스 기업들의 화물 집하와 배송 방법을 개선할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 택배 서비스에서 기대 시간 배송 규칙을 적용할 때 도로 및 지형적 환경을 변화시켜 봄으로써 ETD 규칙의 특성을 분석하였다. 도로 환경은 출퇴근 시간대와 불규칙적으로 발생하는 차량지체 현상을 반영하였다. 지형적 환경은 주거 밀집지역, 대규모 시장이 위치해 있는 상황, 작고 좁은 길이 많은 지역 등을 고려하여 화물을 수거할 때 시간이 지연될 수 있는 환경을 조성하였다. 조성된 환경을 고려하였을 때에도 ETD 규칙이 유용한지의 여부를 확인하여 보았고, 조성된 환경이 간선 배송 발차 시간에 따른 화물 배송의 성공적 시행여부에 영향을 미치는 지도 확인하였다.
Abstract
Our paper is focused on sensitivity analysis in some situations that changes road and geographical environment in ETD rule. ETD(Expected Time Delivery) rule is a delivery system using Early Due Date rule and Cut-off Time. When ETD rule is used, the number of successful delivery parcels is increased significantly. And the improvement of cost would be controlled by adjusting Cut-off Time. The road and geographical environment means traffic jam and affect of large market or residential area. Results of our paper show that road and geographical environment affects the performance of ETD rule. However, these affects are similar tendency in relation to result of previous research without considering road and geographical environment.
