호텔경영학의 연구문헌동향에 관한 연구 -호텔경영학연구지를 중심으로

본 연구는 호텔경영학회에서 발간하는 학술지의 연구 문헌에 대한 과거 연구 동향을 조사하기 위하여 1993년 2월 (창간호)부터 2003년 2월(통권 21호)까지의 「호텔경영학연구」(Journal of Hotel Administration)에 실렸던 게재 논문을 대상으로 연구자의 수, 연구 주제 및 분야, 연구 대상 기관, 연구 방법, 통계 기법, 인용 원천 및 빈도 등의 내용 분석을 실시하였고 분석결과는 다음과 같다.첫째, 저자 관련 분석에서 단독 연구가 48.9%, 공동 연구가 51.1%로 조사되었으나 공동 연구의 비율이 증가하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다.둘째, 내용 관련 분석에서 학제적 분류로는 마케팅, 인사 및 조직에 대한 연구가 주를 이루었고, 응용 대상 분류로는 호텔업에 대한 연구가 58.5%로 주를 이루는 것으로 조사되었다. 연구 방법별로는 설문지법이 주로 사용되었고, 연구 분석 기법으로는 요인분석, 회귀분석, 분산분석이 주로 사용되는 것으로 조사되었다.셋째, 참고 문헌 이용과 관련하여 논문 당 평균 참고 문헌의 수는 약 27편이며 전반적으로 국외 문헌의 의존 및 활용도가 높은 것으로 조사되었다.
Abstract
This study analysed Journal of Hotel Administration published from 1993 to 2003(n=284). Content analysis was conducted with regard to such perspectives as study field, industry field, methodology, statistical analysis, and citation source, etc.Major finding are as follows:Approximately 50% of articles was written by one author, and slightly more than 50% was written by co-author. However, the ratio of articles by co-author has been increasing as time progresses.Major academic field of study was marketing followed by personnel management and organizational behavior.Hotel was the major research object followed by food service enterprise.Questionnaire survey was the major methodology(66.6%), and factor analysis was the major statistical method followed by regression analysis and ANOVA.Foreign articles were major citation source while the average number of references is approximately 27.
