Relationship among Leadership Style, Empowerment and Oragnization Commitment in the Hotel Business

Because of the radical change in hotel business environment, the hotel owners and hoteliers are highly interested in how to manage their human resources. The issues of leadership, empowerment, and organizational commitment cannot be missed out in hotel business, but they often studied seperatly. Accordingly, current research is aiming to present these three important topics into the single study and to see if there is any relationship among them. Therefore the purpose of this paper is to investigate how leadership, empowerment, and organizational commitment are influence and/or effect on hotel employees. The results of correlation analysis indicate that transformational leadership was positively related to empowerment and organizational commitment, and empowerment and organizational commitment were highly related.
