인터넷이 인간 커뮤니케이션에 미치는 영향이 증가함에 따라 효율적인 웹 기반 디자인의 개발이 요구되면서 멀티미디어 저작도구에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이미 다양한 형태의 웹 문서 저작도구가 개발된 상태이지만, 이러한 저작 도구들을 사용하기 위해서는 전문 지식이 요구되는 것이 사실이다. 본 연구는 현재 널리 쓰이고 있는 멀티미디어 프로그램인 플래시의 액션 스크립트와 XML을 사용하여 사용자가 쉽게 웹 디자인을 제작할 수 있는 시스템인 DASF (Design Authoring System using Flash)의 개발을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 웹상에서 가벼운 플랫폼으로 동작하므로 사용자 접근이 용이할 뿐 아니라, 튜터리얼 (Tutorial) 방식의 저작과정을 통하여 풍부한 멀티미디어 디자인 제작이 가능하다는 점에서 앞으로 가속화될 웹 기반 멀티미디어 디자인 저작도구 개발에 기여할 것으로 평가된다. 따라서 이 논문의 목적은 DASF 시스템과 같이 응용된 저작프로그램의 구현을 분석함으로써 다양한 사용자 요구에 부응하는 효율적인 멀티미디어 디자인 저작시스템 제작방법을 제시하는 것이다.
Abstract
The usage of multimedia design is expanding largely owing to the need to develop various and efficient web based contents as the Internet plays more significant role in human communication. Many web based authoring tools are produced; however, existing authoring tools so far are found difficult to use and mostly require technical understandings and expertise. This study takes on one of the most prominent multimedia authoring tools, Flash, in order to examine the potential to utilize it in the development of more user-friendly multimedia design system, DASF (Design Authoring System using Flash), by combining Flash's in-built script language, Action Scripts and XML. This research suggests ways in which authoring tools can be customized as a secondary program to facilitate the process of developing web based multimedia design.
