지금까지 우리나라의 지역은 식량공급 공간이라는 1차 산업 위주로 발전되어 왔고, 그동안 우리나라의 농촌지역에 관한 정책은 도시화 정책과 첨단산업 정책에 비해 크게 다루어지지는 않았다. 즉, 농촌지역정책은 농업생산성의 증대는 농가의 소득증대라는 관점에서 농업생산량의 증산 혹은 농업구조의 개선 등에 관한 농업정책을 중심으로 추진되었고, 이전의 우루과이라운드와 함께 최근의 국제무역기구(WTO) 및 도하개발계획(DDA)의 농수산물 개방 협상에 따른 농수산물 수입개방과 함께 농촌지역은 삶의 존폐위기 마저 위협받게 되었다. 이에 지역의 생존 경쟁력을 갖기 위해 그린투어리즘이나 지역축제의 활성화 등 다각적인 측면에서의 생존 노력이 있다. 디자인은 우리생활주변의 환경개선과도 관련되어 있어, 지역 이벤트디자인이나, 그린투어리즘, 지역축제 등과도 매우 밀접한 간련을 맺고 있다. 본고는 이러한 축면에서 지역의 활성화를 위한 디자인분야에서의 접근이 절대적이라고 생각하며, 지역활성화의 새로운 대안으로서 디자인을 통한 발전가능성을 제안하고, 디자인분야에서의 역할과 접근가능성을 제안하고자 한다.
Abstract
Until now, the parts of Korea developed centered 1st industry as space of supply with provisions, Rural area of Korea for long time doesn't have a big specific gravity with policy and newest industry policy. Namely, rural area policy is enlargement of rural productivity= it was propelled rural policy just like a increase rural production or an improvement of rural as a point of view of rural development. Nowadays it was menaced or abolition of rural life with opening of agricultural and marine products import followed import negotiation of Uruguay Round, WTO and DDA. It also is trying to have competitive power in many ways just like a Green tourism and family events. Design is related to development of environment of our life style in many ways, so it's also related to event design or Green tourism, local events. This paper will suggest Design process because design is necessity for local activation and as a new way to local activation and it is possible to approach from part of design.
