북 아트 디자인에 있어서의 해체주의적 성향에 관한 연구

초록
현대사회의 가치관에 변화는 고정관념의 해체를 통한 변화로 이야기할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 생활방식의 다양화는 개성의 다양화로 이어져 새로운 형태의 디자인을 요구하고 있다. 해체란 기존의 것에 대한 반발이나 대치보다는 새로운 가능성의 탐구라는 의미가 더 크다. 새로운 형태에 대한 모색은 시각예술 전반에 걸쳐 나타나는데 근래의 북 아트디자인에서도 동일한 요소들을 찾아볼 수 있다. 기존 책의 구성이나 형태, 형식들이 전달을 위한 ‘수단’으로서의 각각의 역할에 충실하였다면 북 아트에서는 이를 벗어나 독자(수신자)에게 보다 다양한 형태의 표현 방법들을 취하고 있다. 이러한 ‘보는 것’과 ‘읽는 것’, ‘언어적인 것’과 ‘시각적인 것’사이의 경계의 해체를 통하여 커뮤니케이션의 방법과 의미확대를 제시하고 있는 것이다. 또한 북 아트는 디지털미디어시대에서 디지털방식으로 보여 지는 것들에 대한 반작용으로 인간의 생물학적특성이 가미되는 감성적 조형예술로의 순수한 영역확장도 시도하고 있다.본 논문은 북 아트 디자인의 열린 구조로서의 가능성과, 이를 해체주의이론에 대입하여 살펴봄으로서 다양한 담론을 논할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고자 하는데 있다. 개인적이고 주관적인 감성을 통한 교감의 시도와 소통은 미래의 트랜드에 부합되는 하나의 대안으로 제시 할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The changes in the sense of value represents the changes in the dismantling of the fixed concept. In addition, the diversity of life style together with the diversity of the individuality requires new forms of design. The dismantling means more than the force of repulsion on the exiting things. It means the search for the new possibility. This has been noticed in the field of visual arts and can be found in the book design, too. Although the formation, shape and formality of the existing books have played a role in some ways, the book arts has taken a position to convey the various ways of expressions to the readers. Through the dismantling of boundaries between reading and seeing, and between linguistic sense aspect and visual aspect, it focus on the presentation of expansion in the way of communication and extension of its meaning. In addition, book arts as a repulsion against the showing things with the way of digital in the age of digital media has been extended to the field of formative arts with susceptibility.The purpose of this research paper is to suggest some various discussion through the examination on the possibility of book arts design as an open structure and an application of dismantling theory. In a large extent, a new attempt of mutual consensus and communication through the personal prejudice and subjective emotion will provide an alternative of future trends.
