디자이너로서의 세종과 디자인으로서의 한글

초록
디자인이란 인간의 진정한 삶을 위하여 조형적인 실제로 구체화 하는 과정을 말한다. 디자인의 가치 창출의 주역은 디자이너이다. 따라서 디자인물은 디자이너가 어떠한 목적의식을 가지고 창조적으로 생산 해 내었느냐에 따라 그것이 내포하는 가치는 달라지게 된다. 이에 본 연구는 디자인 가치의 이념을 가장 잘 실천한 세종대왕과 그의 디자인 결과물인 한글에 대해 탐구하고 있다.디자인 가치 창출에 있어 인간을 존중하고 평등하게 바라보는 시각은 디자이너의 기본이자 필수 덕목이라 할 수 있다. 디자이너의 문제의식으로 시작되는 디자인 과정은 조선시대 한글 디자인 프로세스라 하더라도 현대의 디자인 과정과 다를 바 없다.인의 실용사상을 바탕으로 인간과 자연의 조화를 문자 디자인으로 표현하였던 세종의 한글 디자인 컨셉은 시대를 불문하고 빛나는 가치를 발휘하고 있다. 사람의 음성기관에 대한 정밀한 관찰과 소리의 원리를 우주의 이치에서 밝혀내어 한글을 완성한 그의 자연철학은 최고의 디자인 컨셉이라 할 수 있다. 또한 한글의 기본자는 28자 뿐이나 체계적인 응용을 통해 생성될 수 있는 글자가 11,172자를 넘어 이 세상에 표현 해 내지 못할 소리가 없다. 이것은 한글 디자인을 시스템화 하였기 때문에 가능하였다. 시스템을 통한 합리적인 디자인 과정은 보다 높은 차원의 디자인물을 생산 할 수 있었고 백성의 삶을 바꾸게 되는 문화로 자리 잡았으며 디지털 화 된 현대에는 대한민국의 강력한 강점으로 역할을 하고 있다. 한글이 가진 문화적 힘이 앞으로 한국 디자인의 위상을 높이고 미래 디자인의 방향을 제시해 주는 좋은 길잡이가 되기를 바란다.
Abstract
Webster's New World Dictionary states that 'design' is to create or contrive for a particular purpose or effect. There is reasoning and purpose behind a design. Languages consist of various shapes and sizes to create meaning. In this study, you will discover how the designer of hangeul brought and is still bringing innovative ways in communication.King Se-Jong was of great power and wealth, but he found it a challenge to communicate with his people of Korea. His vision was to create a language to bring the commonwealth of his people together.Due to King Se-Jong's love for humanity, equality, and incredible respect for his people, he developed a language that helps the people of Korea communicate till this day.Hangeul consists of two function, consonants and vowels, which are separated. As a result over 11,172 words can be formed, thus increasing the design of the Korea language. It's power lies in the design.Many people of the 21st century are crazed about the latest fad and trendiest design. And technology world not have advanced without a common language, or design. To keep up with this technologically growing world, new design proposals are constantly forming. The one thing world should keep in mind is where the concept of design originated.
