한국적 디자인의 可能性으로서의 諧謔에 관한 연구

초록
국가의 문화를 형성하고 국제화시키는 것은 보여지는 형상만을 따지는 것보다 정신적 기반 위에서 형성되어지고 있는 가를 따져 보는 것이 중요하다. 한국 이미지를 긍정적으로 표현하고자 문화관광부에서는 96년도에 문화상징가치 소재를 선정하여 발표 한 적이 있다. 과연 이러한 소재가 한국적 문화상징가치로서 충분한가에 대한 재고(再考)의 여지가 남아 있으며 문화형성이 행동이나 물질에서 그치는 것이 아니라 그 속에 표상 되어지는 것을 말하고 있기 때문에 표상 되어지는 정신적 기반의 연구가 필요하다. 한국에는 고대에서 현대에 이르기까지 문학, 예술, 생활용품, 풍속 등 사회 계층간 신분, 직위의 관계없이 문화의 정신적 형성기반에 해학이 존재하고 있다. 한국의 해학은 서양의 유머와는 다르며 한국의 정체성을 엿 볼 수 있다. 그렇다면 해학을 독자적 문화를 형성하는 정신적 것에서부터 구체화 시각화 실제화 할 필요가 있다.해학은 대부분 수사적으로 표현했을 때 은유와 의인 대조, 과장, 반복의 열거에 의하여 표출되며 디자인 원리인 리듬, 조화, 균형의 시각적 기호를 통하여 실체화함으로써 해학이 표출되어지는 특징을 볼 수 있다. 이것은 디자인적 방법을 통하여 실체화 구체화 할 수 있어, 시각커뮤니케이션 수단으로 표현이 가능 할 것이다. 해학의 특징을 응용하고 활용하기 위한 방법의 모색과 이를 공유하기 위해서는 우선적으로 디자인에서 기초연구가 이루어 지고 이를 토대로 정보의 자료화와 디지털 콘텐츠를 구축을 함으로써 디자인을 통해 시각화가 이루어 질 것이다. 그래서 한국의 독자적 문화 아이덴티티 구축과 한국적 디자인의 모티브를 이루는 요소로 가능성을 제시하였다.
Abstract
It should be noted that it is important to determine if the creation of national culture and their globalization are based on mental aspects in addition to visible conditions. In 1996 The Ministry of Culture and Tourism selected and announced material for a symbol of our national culture to express positive Korean image. However, it needs to be reviewed to determine if it deserves a symbol of Korean culture. In addition, the creation of culture is not just represented by activities or visible material and culture symbolizes something essential. So, much research should be made to examine the mental aspects of what it symbolizes. In Korea, our culture is based on the metal aspect of creation of our culture, humor in various areas such as literature, arts, daily products, and customs, regardless of social status or positions, from the ancient times to modern times. Korean humor says much about our identity different from western humor. Then the mental aspect of creation of our! unique culture should be embodied, visualized and verified first, and it will be possible for us to establish identity of our unique culture and find the motive for Korean design if the types of representation of humor are examined and these are visualized through design.
