시베리아 횡단철도의 활성화 방안: 노보시비르스크의 물류수송 거점화 구상과 전망

The main purpose of this article is to analyze the problems and presence of economy in Novosibirsk to deal with prospects of its multimodal transport junction in the 21st century. The Russian Federation is to focus on Novosibirsk as the major oil and gas supply system and the multi-transport center in terms of strategy for the development of Siberia and the Far East. Novosibirsk has all facilities to become the main transport junction to the neighboring regions and countries. In practice the main goals of the development project are to promote international logistical technologies in the system of transport service, to optimize interaction of various types of transport and to provide high quality servicing of international, regional and interregional transportation. This implies that TSR's modest privatization process and policy for utilization have intensively been practiced by conducting structural reform of the Russian Railway system in the mid and long term period. It can be prospected that Novosibirsk is to become a center for the service of logistical transportation through connecting between the TSR and the TKR(Trans-Korean Railroad) domestically and internationally.
