초록
기업은 정보화에 대한 필요성을 깊이 인식하고 있으면서도 실제로 정보기술을 통한 시스템 구축 및 추진방법 그리고 전략실행과정에서 의사결정과 관련하여 많은 의문과 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구는 정보시스템을 구축하고 이를 활용하고자 하는 경영자들의 당면문제인 정보시스템 활용과 기업의 성과와는 어떠한 연관관계가 있는지에 대하여 연구모형을 도출 및 문제점을 제시하고 이에 대한 해결방안을 제안하였다. 연구 결과, 여러 가지 정보시스템 유형 중 전사적 자원관리시스템이 기업성과에 가장 강한 영향력을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 정보시스템 유형이 기업성과에 미치는 영향은 성과유형에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 시사점으로는 정보시스템을 활용하고 있는 한국의 제조기업들은 비용절감(업무효율)에 초점을 둔 업무지원형 정보시스템 활용 전략을 극복하고, 기업가치향상에 초점을 둔 비즈니스 지향형 정보시스템 구축과 활용을 통해 기업의 성장을 추구하는 전략을 도모해야 하는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
Though firms recognized information technology(IT) to be necessary for improvement of outcomes, there still are a lot of questioning about how to launch the process, how to adopt the information systems, and what strategies to be accomplished in the implementation of information technology. This study suggests a model to utilize information technology, the measurement method of performance, and then some ways to solve the problems in the implementation of information technology. On analysis, firms to pursue IT are able to achieve the best performance by adopting ERP system among information technology, and each outcome of which reveals to be different in the implementation of information technology. The paper concludes that, to improve outcome of the information systems for Korean firms, it is necessary to pursue the Business-driven IT strategy focused on revenue growth.
