초록
본 연구는 정보기술 자원과 정보시스템 역량의 영향에 대한 e-비즈니스 역량을 검증하고 e-비즈니스 역량에 따른 경영성과의 차이 존재여부를 검증한다. 본 연구모델은 4개의 연구변수와 16개의 구성개념들로 구성되었으며, 구조방정식에 의한 실증을 위해 58개 업체들로부터 받은 설문을 활용하였다. 탐색적 연구 결과, 정보기술 자원 및 역량은 e-비즈니스 역량에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었고 e-비즈니스 역량 역시 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 특히, e-비즈니스 성격상 실시간으로 네트워크를 통해서 파트너들과의 안정적인 서비스를 제공해야 된다는 측면에서 시스템 운용능력과 관련한 정보시스템 역량의 중요성을 밝혔다. 본 연구모형은 기업의 e-비즈니스 역량을 가늠하는 평가기준을 실증분석을 통해 제공한다는 점과 성공적인 e-비즈니스 역량 개선을 위한 정보기술 자원과 정보시스템 역량을 벤치마킹하는 데 방향설정을 제시 할 수 있다는 점에서 본 연구가 시사하는 바가 있다고 본다.
Abstract
This paper focused on exploratory testing the information system resources and capabilities effect on e-business capabilities to the firm performance. The instrument of e-business capability is based on the work of Zhu and Kraemer(2002). The research model consisting of four dimensions and sixteen constructs were proposed and empirically verified by structural equation model using a sample consisting of 58 respondents, most of whom were IT managers or IT related officers.The results show that information systems resources and capabilities significantly influence e-business capability and that e-business capability also significantly influence firm performance and provide a useful tool for benchmarking information systems capabilities and resources as a foundation.The paper concludes that operation capabilities and resources of information systems are useful constructs for e-business capability and firm performance. Recommended further research included the relationship between e-business capability and organization structure as well as further investigation into how e-business capabilities are formed and strengthened in organization.
