의료시장 개방에 대한 의료산업 종사자의 경영위기 인식에 관한 연구

본 연구는 기존에 중점적으로 다루어졌던 의료서비스에 대한 고객의 만족도에 관한 논문과는 달리 의료서비스를 제공하는 당사자인 의료산업 종사자 측에서 급변하는 의료경영 환경에 대해 느끼는 경영위기 인식의 정도를 측정 및 분석하는 것이 주 내용이며, 조사는 수도권과 대전지역의 의료산업종사자(의사, 간호사, 경영인력)를 대상으로 진행하였다. 연구결과에 의하면 의료산업종사자들은 일반적인 추측과는 달리 의료시장개방에 대하여 심각한 위기의식을 갖지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 반면, 국내의 정책적·제도적 변화에 대해서는 민감한 반응을 나타내었고, 반응의 정도에서 직군별로 유의한 차이를 보이는 것으로 분석되었다. 결국 국내의료시장 개방에 대한 의료산업종사자들의 경영위기에 대한 준비와 인식은 다소 미흡하다고 판단된다. 정책적인 방향에서 본 연구는 결과적으로 국내 의료시장개방에 대한 의료산업종사자들의 위기 인식을 제고하는 한편, 의료시장개방 후의 국제경쟁에 대비하여 국내 의료산업의경쟁력을 향상시킬 수 있는 의료제도의 개선과 의료산업경쟁력 강화를 위한 정부의 지원이 추진되어야 한다고 제안한다.
Abstract
This paper researches on the crisis recognition in management in the face of the opening of the domestic medical market to foreigners. The survey data are collected from medical clinics in Seoul and Daejeon areas. According to our research, people in domestic medical industry do not feel the crisis over the opening of the domestic medical market to foreigners seriously while they show sensitive responses to the change of domestic medical policies. As a result of this insensitivity to the opening of the domestic market to foreigners, people working in the domestic medical industry lack of preparation over the opening of the domestic market to foreigners. The contribution of this paper, we would say, would be to increase the degree of crisis recognition by the people in domestic medical industry. As a conclusion of the research, we suggest that Korean government should formulate and implement the policies to increase the international competitiveness to be ready for the opening of the domestic market to the foreigners.
