초록
현대 디자인계의 추세에 따라 그간 디자인의 주변영역에만 머물러 있던 화예디자인에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다 . 이제 디자인의 주변영역으로서의 인식과 한계를 뛰어넘어 그것이 갖는 기능과 가치를 인정받기 위해서는 다양한 표현양식의 창출을 위한 전문적인 작품 활동이 필요함과 동시에 이런 표현양식들의 가치와 정신을 해석하고 체계화시켜 동시대적 가치창출에 기여하도록 하는 이론적 체계의 정립이 또한 필요하다. 이러한 노력의 고자 함을 목적으로 한다 . 현재 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 화예디자인의 분류체계들은 외적인 형태 , 또는 외적으로 나타나는 화예디자인의 기능 , 용도에 의거하고 있다 . 본고가 새로이 제시하고자 하는 것은 이러한 외적인 속성에 의거한 분류체계와 상호 보완을 이룰 수 있도록 화예디자인의 내적인 속성과 표현대상 (표현내용)에 의거한 분류체계를 제시하고자 하는 것이다 .Floral Arts and Design character(화예디자인속성), type( 작품유형), classification(분류체계)152 한국 화예디자인학 연구 제12집
Abstract
By the new trend of 21st century, Floral Arts and Design is now trying to leap up to one of the major areas of design today. For this, it should produce not only the professional designers who can create the physical works, but also the theorists who can provide the tools for expounding the social, cultural, and artistic meanings of those works. As one of those efforts, this paper aims at proposing the new view for classifying the works of floral arts and design. The classification systems now being used are usually based on the external forms of the designs. This paper hopes to provide the new classification system based on the internal contents of the designs. It will render a compensatory system to the present one because arts and designs are composed both with form and contents.
