This article is on the Japanese Case Study about the electronic vote. Nowadays, IT is the most leading of all industries. Particulary, Korea and Japan are the IT strong powers. IT is utilized in not only industry, but also in administration and politics. Diverse administrative or political services through internet or wireless mobile are used broadly. Modern representative[parliamentary] democracy system should be complemented by administrative or political services through internet or wireless mobile. One of the most effective systems to promote people's participation through internet or wireless mobile is electronic voting. People's participation is facilitated by electronic voting. Electronic vote is operated in local government election partially in Japan. But, it made a lot of troubles in electronic voting machine and elective management. Nagoya Court of Appeals held Gani city election void. This judgment is the first for electronic voting. And it becomes a lesson for Korea. Also this study is aimed to promote understanding between Korea and Japan by the research of the present conditions of the electronic voting in Japan.
