>본 연구는 물류관리시스템의 성과를 향상시킬 수 있는 시스템을 설계운용하기 위해 경영환경, 물류경쟁전략과 물류관리정보 활용도 간의 관계 및 이들 관계의 적합성이 기업의 물류성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 분석하여 물류성과를 극대화하기 위한 정책 수립 시에 합리적인 지침을 제시하고자 하는 것이 주된 연구목적이다.실증분석결과, 물류차별화전략을 추구하는 경우에는 환경과 물류전략 간의 적합성은 물론 물류전략과 물류관리정보 활용도 간의 적합성도 고려하여야만 높은 물류성과를 기대할 수 있다. 반면에 원가우위전략의 경우는 물류전략과 물류관리정보 활용도 간의 적합성만으로도 높은 물류성과를 기대할 수 있었다. 즉 차별화전략은 환경 지향적이고 원가우위전략은 조직내부 지향적이라는 사실과 일관성을 갖는다. 이러한 연구결과는 물류성과를 극대화하기 위한 적합성은 전략유형에 따라 다를 수 있음을 시사해 주고, 원가우위전략의 경우처럼 모든 적합성보다는 부분적인 적합성만으로도 높은 물류성과를 기대할 수 있다면 원가우위전략을 추구하는 기업들은 환경과 물류전략을 조화하려는 필요 이상의 노력을 하지 않으므로 인해 투자하게 될 자원을 절감할 수 있다는 실무적인 시사점을 제시해 준다.
Abstract
>This paper attempts to study the impact of environmental adaptation and information fit on logistics performance, and to suggest logistics strategies that would be helpful in achieving the logistics goals. To test the hypothesis which are proposed with respect to the impact of environmental adaptation and information fit on logistics performance, an empirical research was conducted on 202 firms. For the purpose of the empirical research, this paper used the questionnaire survey data.On the basis of the results in this empirical research, the findings of this paper can be summarized as follows. Firms with high fit were performing significantly better than firms with low fit. An important finding of this paper is that fit among management environment, logistics strategy and practical use of information is not universally applicable for all types of strategy. High performers with differentiation strategy achieved external fit, while high performers with cost leadership strategy pursued internal fit. The results of this paper help to enhance the firm’s logistics performance to become aligned and focused on implementing the long－term competitive strategy.
