어린이중심 펜션의 디자인 개발에 관한 연구

1999년 제주도를 시작으로 전국에 퍼져나간 펜션은 특유의 장점을 가지고 계속 생겨나고 있지만 펜션을 경험한 이용객의 기대치는 점차 떨어지고 있다. 현재의 소비자는 다양한 문화융합형 상품을 체험하려는 경향을 보이고 있는데, 이러한 소비자 변화를 감지하고 그에 맞춰 변화하지 않는다면 과도한 경쟁 속에서 계속적인 수익은 기대할 수 없을 것이다. 이에, 본 논문은 어린이를 타깃으로 학습과 놀이를 겸한 새로운 개념의 어린이를 위한 펜션(가칭 키즈빌)을 제안하였다. 주5일 근무와 교육이라는 제도의 변화로 급증한 가족 여행 인구를 수용하기 위해 가족 내 소비주체로 부상한 어린이를 타깃으로 어린이의 창의성 발달과 새로운 놀이와 체험으로서의 학습을 가능하게 하여 펜션의 효용성을 높여 수익을 창출하는 동시에 소비자의 가치를 실현하기 위함이다. 새로이 제안된 키즈빌은 컨셉에 따라 개발되어 F.G.I를 통해 그 실현 가능성을 타진해 보았는데 돔(Dome)과 캐릭터를 이용한 펜션에 대한 소비자의 기대치가 생각보다 높게 나타났다. 특히 각각 다른 디자인의 캐릭터 돔으로 인해 재방문의 빈도를 앞당기거나 늘릴 수 있음을 확인했으며 자연학습 이외에 놀이를 겸한 학습 프로그램에 지대한 관심을 나타내어 영어마을과 같이 특화된 펜션을 기대할 수 있었다. 여러 가지 제한점과 더욱 연구 개발되어야 할 분야가 남아있지만 새로운 시도에 대한 성공가능성을 예측해 본다.
Abstract
In recent years, pensions have become increasingly popular, beginning on Jeju Island in 1999. Even though there are peculiar advantages, guests' expectancies are falling off day by day. Today, consumer would like to experience various merchandise. Therefore, it shouldchange as such consumerism. If not, it is hard to expect continuous profit. This thesis suggests a new type of pension for children, Kids Ville; which has both educational and recreational features. Such a pension would be able to accommodate a rapidly increasing number of family-travelers. The main customers ofKid Ville are children, because they are a new kind of consuming group today and able to develop their originality through the educational program in Kid Ville. Therefore, the thesis benefits not only sheds light on the effective value of the pension, but also its consumer-oriented worth Kids Ville was examined the actual ability through F.G.I. In view of the results, the pension using dome and some characters is successful. Also, each different design characters-dome gains in consumer favor and increase the order of frequency of lodging. In addition, a lot of parents interest the educational program with various recreations today, and hence it is possible to expect like the English-Village. There are some limits and problems had to solve yet, this project is quite within the realms of possibility.
