A Study on the desirable Attitude of a Leader for realization of Legalism Kim, Jong-Deok This paper chiefly deals with a nation leader's(president etc.) desirable attitude for the realization of legalism(rule of law) in Korea. By the way, the development grade of nations are separated by the economic and national defence power on the one hand, But they do not be said as an advanced nation because of their nation's the economic and national defence power are powerful. Whether or not a nation is an advanced nation, it will be decided by level of the citizen consciousness and attitude related to rule of law. Therefore we should be keep it in mind that nation's prosperity depend upon whether or not the society is dominated by the law and principle. In order to go forward an advanced community of law, the desirable attitudes of a nation leader for realization of rule of law are very important. In this point, leader should be have(retain) a deep love toward to human beings, thought that taking a serious view of the people and that the people is the master of nation, a sense of morality and a law-abiding spirit. Leader has to can guide to the high spiritual value the people, and to can retain opened the mind and attitude through the escape from self-righteous authoritarianism. And leader should be the integrating type leader of democratic thinking. Also, leader of a nation should retain an insight that can show vision of nation's take-off to the people. This paper is emphasizing that everything we have said above is based on a material and immaterial self-sacrifice and self control of the leader.
