비대칭정보와 보험시장의 차선균형에 관한 연구

본 연구는 정보의 비대칭으로 인해 다양한 역선택이 가장 심각하게 발생하고 있는 보험시장을 중심으로 차선균형의 달성 여부를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 일반균형분석처럼 파레토최적이 달성되는 것은 아니지만, 분리균형인 차선균형이 달성되는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, R-S의 연구결과를 토대로 M-W, S-M과 C-S 모형 등을 통한 차선균형을 분석하였는데, M-W모형은 공동분담 균형방식의 차선균형에 속하는 것으로 분석되었다. 그리고 S-M 및 C-S모형은 보조금 및 조세지원이 최저한도를 초과하게 되면, M-W모형에 접근하게 되어 역시 공동분담의 차선균형을 형성하게 된다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이는 정보의 비대칭이 존재하는 보험시장에서 차선균형에 도달하는 것은 방법론에서 차이가 있을 뿐 대동소이하다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 추후 연구에서는 보험시장의 차선균형 유지와 관련한 보조금 및 조세지원 최적한도에 대한 심도 있는 논의와 보험시장의 차선균형 이론을 이용한 보험자의 경영안정 및 보험계약자의 효용 극대화방안에 관한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This study analyses to get availability of the second best equilibrium with the insurance market where various adverse selection is happening most seriously by asymmetry of information. As a result of analysis, we know that general equilibrium does not achieve, but expose to get the second best equilibrium. Specially, this study analyzed the other balance through M-W, S-M and C-S model etc., on the basis of R-S's study, M-W Model was belong to the second best equilibrium by the Pooling-Equilibrium. And we can know that S-M and C-S model approach to M-W model, it is also affiliate with the second best equilibrium of cooperation division if grants-in-aid and taxes support exceed minimum limits. It means to be substantially not only the same thing but it is difference in methodology that reach for the second best equilibrium in the insurance market that asymmetry of information exists. Therefore, it is necessary for the studies on scale of subsidy and bounds of tax support to maintain the second best equilibrium. In addition, in order to pursuit insurer's management stability the second best equilibrium theory should be applied to insurance market, and researches for insurance contractor's utility maximization plan should be performed.
