초록
This study covers how the notion of CSR has evolved and considers various approaches for CSR. This suggests more practical new integral approach considering practical and managerial side. Since most studies don't reach notional consensus of CSR so far, deriving economic-management implications from related CSR is hard to reach. Therefore, firstly we classify already existing various approaches about CSR using circumstance-dependent ethical approach, economic approach based on Coase theory, strategic approach and social-systematic approach. These approaches are lack of practical usage in analyzing corporate behaviors from the standing point of corporate goal. Therefore this study suggests integrated approach based on corporate environments. Corporate environments are divided into internal and external side. The former includes human resource management, safety and health in the workplace, adequate responses and adjustments in the change of environment. We define corporate activities for coping with these internal circumstances as intrinsic approach. The latter includes local community, business partner, and private right-related issues in terms of comprehensive notion. We prescribe corporate activities to deal with these external circumstances as extensive approach. CRS has been expanded from intrinsic responsibilities based on internal corporate problems to extensive responsibilities. This new integral approach shows much helpful ways to analyze individual corporate cases by putting emphasis on corporate environment comparing to original approach.
Abstract
This study covers how the notion of CSR has evolved and considers various approaches for CSR. This suggests more practical new integral approach considering practical and managerial side.
