지식기반 사회의 무형자산 측정평가와 과제에 관한 연구

초록
>본 연구는 기업경영이 정보화ㆍ지식사회에서 이루어짐에 따라 무형자산 또는 지식자산의 중요성이 점차 증대되고 있는 점을 반영하여 무형자산에 관한 국제회계기준, 미국의 회계기준서, 우리나라의 기업회계기준서 등 여러 문헌을 비교ㆍ검토하여 무형자산의 회계처리에 관한 해결방안을 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째, 무형자산에 대하여는 금액지표 외에 다른 수량적 지표들을 보충적 정보로 도입할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 기업의 재무적 가치와 무형자산과의 관련성을 증명할 수 있어야 한다. 셋째, 특정 무형자산에 관한 한 그 적용범위를 제시해 주는 것이 필요하다. 넷째, 측정된 지표는 각 기업 간 비교가 가능하고 과거로부터의 변화를 추적할 수 있도록 표준화되어야 한다. 다섯째, 각 무형자산의 성격에 따라 다양한 평가방법을 도입하여야 한다.요컨대 국제적인 투자 및 M＆A가 많이 발생하는 현대사회에서 우리나라 기업회계기준서는 국제회계기준 간의 차이를 줄여 조화할 수 있는 방안을 모색해야 할 뿐만 아니라 기업의 투자환경에 반영될 수 있는 무형자산에 대한 회계기준들이 구체화되어야 할 것이다.
Abstract
>This study examined literatures；IAS, SFAS, and SKAS relating to intangible assets, reflecting fact that as a business is managed in information－oriented and knowledge－based society, intangible assets and intellectual assets grow more important. Solutions relating to the measurement and valuation of intangible assets are as follows;First, not only amount index but also quantity indexes are necessary to be used as additional information in intangible assets.Second, connections between financial value of a business and intangible assets should be provedThird, It is necessary that the limit of application be suggested as for intangible assets.Forth, Measurement indexes should be standardized in order to compare a business with another and recognize changes between the past and the present.Fifth, Various valuation methods should be introduced according to the characteristic of intangible assets.In a word, not only plans that harmonize SKAS with IAS should be found but also accounting standards of intangible assets reflected on investment environment should be actualized in modern society where international investment and M & A very often occur.
