보행 중심가로의 페이빙 디자인 연구

Pedestrian sidewalk In city environment can not support comfortable walk space in spite of that sidewalk is the place which people use a lot. Especially, the ground of sidewalk is a very important space that contacts with pedestrian, but there is no design standard to design paving. Thus the purpose of this studies is presenting the paving design standard in exclusive pedestrian space and improving walk environment for the pedestrian based on analyzing a case. The case study is done by the paving design standard through the research. First of all, the research object is selcted based on a standard by the strong characteristics of the place of culture, business and residential center that is relatively main pedestrian passage among the important pedestrian exclusive space. Secondly, the research content concentrate upon pattern, material, texture, color and sequence in priority. Finally, the research method is analyzed the content of the perceptive condition of real walking through observing of pedestrians's visual perspective for the object space and photographing. According to the result of the research, the pedestrian point of visual perception for the pedestrian space is more insufficient than functional and visual standard which is presented as analysis tool. This study is meaning of the purpose of design standard and the establish of basic material for the improvement of walk environment from now on even though it limits to special area that is paving design in sidewalk environment.(Keyword)pedestrian, visual perception, paving design, design standard
