設計競技 作品分析을 통한 建築디자인 槪念 分析 - 醫療福祉施設에 적용된 디자인 槪念 分析 -

The purpose of this study is to analyze design concepts applied in medical & welfare facilities. In doing so, this study conducted a literature review of the research published in two domestic journals, A&Cs and Architecture Competition Annuals. In particular, this study reviewed research on 134 buildings which were submitted for domestic competition from 1996 to 2000. The literature review investigated the frequency of design concepts applied to these buildings. Based on the results of this literature review, the design concepts are classified into two categories, five dimensions, and eighteen elements. It was also found that preference for design concepts is different according to the use of buildings and the time that they were built. These results can be used for building estimation and guidance for architects in establishing concepts for design of buildings in design field.
