The Effect of the Apartment Prices in Capital Area on Those in Local Area

초록

To analyze the relationship between the apartment prices of the capital area and those of local area, Granger's Causality test was used. According to the result, the price in capital area causes changes in those in the local area. Also, this paper examined the structural change in those prices of the local area since June 2003. This showed that Roh Moo-hyun government devoted to stabilizing apartment prices in both capital area and local area which facilitated the imbalance between capital area and local area in apartment price by formulating the housing price-control policy.

Abstract
