조선기자재제조업체를 위한 지속가능경영시스템 도입방안

Quality management system ISO 9001:2000 revised twice is the most commonly implemented standard for organizations among other international standards. Environment management system ISO 14001:2004 follows ISO 9001:2000. Occupational health and safety assessment series OHSAS 18001 that was established by British Standard Institution is globally the third most popular standard. Many researches have been done for integrating the three management standards. ISO has launched the development of social responsibility ISO 26000 standard. ISO 26000 is international standard for social responsibility. This standard is intended for use by organizations and will provide both public and private sectors with guidance for helping them to satisfy social increasing demands. This paper briefly outlines each management system mentioned above and summarizes advantages and disadvantages of the integrated management system. It also aims to present the structure of ISO 26000 and possible social responsibility components of ISO 26000. We disclose the survey results of management systems that are practically operating in marine equipment enterprises for shipbuilding industry which is one of key export industry in Korea. We then propose core factors for implementing ISO 26000 that will be required in future and processes for deploying it.
