The Causes of Adoption Dissolution by Precedent Analysis

This research investigated causes of dissolution by precedent analysis by examining 51 cases of the ruling about adoption dissolution were analyzed by content analysis. The results provide a guide for preventing and reducing adoption dissolution by helping to develop services for adoptees and parents. The results of this study were as follows. First, adoptive parents made up 78.43% of the plaintiffs and adoptees made up 82.35 % of the defendants. Adoptive parents wanted adoption dissolutions more than adoptees. Second, 83.33% of adoption dissolution by legal means justice were by childless families and 74.36% by private adoptions. All of adoption dissolutions by legal were by no birth child families and private adoptions. Third, 75% of adoption dissolution by justice adoptees were adopted under the age of 1 and 80% were dissolved over 20 years old. Male adoptees were dissolved more than female adoptees. Fourth, 74.19% of adoption dissolution by justice were causative of adoptees and 16,13% were causative of adoptive parents. Finally, 90.20% of adoption dissolution suits were not dismissed.
