초록
The current study was to evaluate the importance of perceived travel motives and constraints influencing tourists’ decisions. The specific concerns of the current study were to examine the type of travel motives and constraints in travel intention and to identify the role of motives and constraints in the respondents’ intention to take a trip. To test the proposed research hypotheses, this study implemented the following statistical tools: factor analysis on motivational and constraining attributes and, as a following analysis, logistic regression utilized to examine the importance of factor dimensions. The results of the hypotheses tested suggested that respondents significantly perceived motives and constraints in their travel decisions. It can be concluded from the results of testing proposed hypotheses that respondents perceived certain types of travel motives and constraints in travel decisions. The results of the logistic regression analysis indicated that six underlying dimensions of analyzed factors significantly influenced the respondents’ intention to travel.
