문제중심학습방법에 의한 교양법학교육의 개선방안
Improving liberal education of law by using PBL.

This article aims to review the present status of liberal education of law provided in the universities, and suggest Problem Based Leaning as one of educational method. In designing liberal education of law, we consider educational objectives be to promote understanding on elemental themes of law, to help acquire abilities to deal with matters or conflicts of civil lives, and to bring up citizenship of learners of universities. And we consider educational methods be a proper one to attain the objectives of liberal education of law too. There are several alternative educational methods, but first of all, Problem Based Leaning will play the significant role in improving status of liberal education of law, achieving it’s educational goals. It is a self-regulated learning method, facilitating actions necessary for process of learning which is constituted of uses of reasoning, making questions and executing inquiring acts, setting up and evaluating legal solutions or assertions, and last reflections. Problem Based Leaning shows it’s skilled learners a familiar way to construct legal justifications and help criticize other’s constructions or assertions objectively, and most of all makes it possible to build up and possess capabilities to solve their own problems of future.
