창업보육센터의 특성이 입주기업 경영성과에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 창업보육센터(Business Incubator: BI)의 목표와 운영정책, 매니저의 지식역량 그리고 지원서비스수준이 입주기업 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 통해서 궁극적으로 입주기업 성과의 향상을 도모하기 위해서 BI가 어떠한 노력을 하여야 하는가를 규명하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상은 대학과 연구기관에서 설립되어 운영되고 있는 BI로 한정하였다. 설문지는 총 2,500부를 발송하여 이 중에서 247부가 회수되어 회수율은 9.8%이었다. 이 중에서 부실하게 기재된 설문지 8부를 제외한 239부를 통계분석에 이용하였다. 가설검증의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, BI의 목표와 운영정책은 매니저의 지식역량에 영향을 미치고 있다. 둘째, BI의 목표와 운영정책은 지원서비스수준에 영향을 미치고 있다. 셋째, 입주기업 경영성과를 높이는 데에는 BI의 목표와 운영정책이 입주기업에게 직접적인 영향을 미친다기보다 중간경로에 있는 매니저의 지식역량과 지원서비스수준을 높임으로써 입주기업 경영성과를 높여야 효과적이다. 결국 BI 입주기업 경영성과는 매니저의 지식역량과 지원서비스의 질이 크게 영향을 미치고 있으며, 여기에는 BI의 목표와 운영정책의 투명성과 명확성이 또한 영향을 미치고 있으므로 항상 이를 염두에 두고 BI 운영정책 수립이 이루어져야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of business incubator's (BI) operating system on firm's corporate performance. Results of the hypothesis testing are summarized as follows: Frist, it was found that BI's operating goals and policies had statistically significant influence on the knowledge capabilities of BI managers. Second, BI's operating goals and policies did not have statistically significant influence on the level of firm's performance. Third, it was shown that BI's operating goals and policies had significant influence on the level of supporting system. Fourth, manager's knowledge capabilities had an impact on the level of BI's supporting system. Fifth, it was found that manager's knowledge capabilities did not have significantly positive impact on the firm's management achievement. Sixth, it was shown that firm's management performance may depend on the level of supporting system. In conclusion, BI's management performance has much influence on the manager's knowledge capabilities. Therefore, it is suggested that BI policies should be established in a way its goals and management policies have transparency and clarity.
