수형자의 기본권 보장과 특별예방

Prisoners have dignity of human-beings. So they have to be guaranteed basic rights of Constitutional. But in reality guards of prison do not admit many basic rights of Constitutional to prisoners in Korea. The prisoners can not practice in yard enough, go to churches, and talk with other prisoners of another room. The prisoners can not send letters to family and friends without inspection of guards. They meet family and friends indirectly with windows. They have to sleep with many other prisoners in a small room. Nation want to rehabilitate prisoners quickly and with strongly. But society of Korea is decayed. So prisoners do not believe what leaders of Korea say to them. We have to rehabilitate our society itself. Only clean leaders and officers lead prisoners not committing crimes and choosing legal conducts. After these conditions, we have to envelop self-esteem of prisoners. The largest cause of crime is deficiency of self-esteem. So we have to make prisoners acknowledge dignity of themselves. When prisoners understand their value of life and admit themselves not so bad, they can walk good street in life. For these, the basic rights of prisoners should be guaranteed. Disregard of prisoners lessen prisoners' self-esteem and lead them reconducting crimes.
