한국 농업법인 운영실태와 활성화 방안

As GATT, DDA and FTA were contracted internationally, we are forced to open the market of rice and agricultural products domestically. To cope with this situation, competitive agricultural corporations are urgently needed. Korea has experienced the problems such as lifting competitiveness, raising the value of agricultural products, and stable maintenance of regional agriculture, to maximize the efficiency of agricultural management. Even though the system of agricultural corporation was introduced for 18 years, they were not established and managed successfully, running counter to our expectations. The prospective of our agriculture depends upon the role and function of agricultural corporation, because it is an indispensible element for gaining competitiveness. The problems of agricultural corporations surveyed are as follows: the mismanagement and vicious cycle of agricultural corporation, the difficulty of estimating actual conditions and verifying registration, and unsatisfactory recruit of experts. Based on the case study of agricultural corporation and Report on the Agriculture & Fishery Establishment survey conducted by Korea National Statistical Office, this thesis examined and analyzed the current condition. On the basis of these findings, I tried to suggest some systematic improvements in order to activate agricultural corporation. Agricultural corporations must do their best to rationalize management at various levels. And organizations such as government, regional government, and agriculture-related organizations should make concerted effort to start new stage of agricultural development with affection and concern.
