아웃도어 룸의 공간 디자인 특성에 관한 연구

초록
본고는 건축 및 실내디자인에 정원이 결합된, 집합주거인 아웃도어 룸에 관한 특성연구이다. 이는 아직까지 내․외부가 단절된 아파트 공간이 주된 주거양식이 된 한국의 주거양식의 문제점을 재인식하고, 아웃도어 룸의 필요성과 그 도입의 가능성을 모색하고자 하는 동기에서 출발한 연구이다. 본 고찰을 위하여 본고는 먼저 서구 정원의 변천사를 통해 아웃도어 룸의 시대적 용도와 구조적 특성을 분석하고 친환경적 공간으로서의 아웃도어 룸의 형성 과정을 살펴보도록 하겠다. 또 이를 통해 아웃도어 룸의 개념을 재정립하고 도표화하여 다양한 종류의 아웃도어 룸의 실례를 살펴보고 영국, 미국, 호주에서 최근 발행된 리빙(Living) 잡지에서 아웃도어 룸을 분석해 최근 유행하고 있는 트렌드를 통하여 한국 리빙 스타일에 적합할 수 있는 이웃도어 룸의 실례를 찾아보고자 한다.본 연구는 국내의 학계적인 선행 연구가 전무하다는 점에서 큰 의미를 찾을 수 있을 것이다. 또한 ‘앞선 서구형 아웃도어 룸 연구’ 라는 점에서 향후 적극적인 아웃도어 룸 도입의 자극제 역할을 할 수 있을 것이라 본다.
Abstract
This study is started to find out a possibility and necessity of outdoor room introduction to Korean living space design. Furthermore, it takes recognition of Korean’ present living space issue, an apartment which is closed structure inside and out. For this research, this study will analyze use of the times and structural character into outdoor rooms thru the change of the historical garden usage and examine formation processes in eco-friendly space. We will make a chart of various outdoor rooms, re-build the concept, and find the example of them. Also we will find the recent trend of outdoor rooms in UK, USA, Australia by their magazines for matching Korean outdoor living style. This study will be found the great significance Korean domestic academic circles which has been nothing to study previously yet. this study aims to expect helping to adopt the type of outdoor room into Korean living design with “the study of the advanced western style outdoor room”.
