디자인 평가를 위한 감성어휘 연구

The design evaluation method by using the sensibility vocabulary is a common way of analysis on user preferences and conceptual image about the objects in art and design, as well as in the sensibility engineering. In this case, It is very important process to collect and select the appropriate sensibility vocabulary for the purpose of evaluating the object. The propose of this study is an extensive research of the sensibility vocabulary. Therefore, in this paper, the classification system of Korean adjective and especially sense adjectives among them is investigated. The results are as follows. The first, the system of Korean adjective consists of the sense adjective, the emotion adjective, the evaluation adjective, and the existence adjective. The sensibility adjectives is distributed most in the category of evaluation adjective, followed by the sense adjective, the existence adjective, and the emotion adjective. Second, among the 1,058 sense adjectives that were studied, visual adjective occupy the most 38.47%(407), followed by tactile adjectives(18.53%, 196), and taste adjectives(10.21%, 108). This paper suggests that the literal and practical definition of essential terms related to this study should be clearly defined among scholars and a system for the sensibility vocabulary should be established for advanced studies in this area.
