노동자 문화정치와 파업: 방법론적 검토

In this paper worker's strike was defined as an expressive form of workers' culture and as a site of workers' cultural politics where workers' struggles continuously form and expand their singular thoughts by working class cultural practices including signifying practices. And this paper identified several key analytic elements for the emic studies on worker's strikes, based on surveyed data and text materials on the workers and labour union of H Auto. Co.: the dynamics of titre and space, gesture semiosis, emotional dynamics, and multimodal expression of cultural contents etc. Thirdly, it was identified that the cultural politics of Minjoo-nojo movement was too limited to utilize the semiotic and cultural resources needed to express workers' ideas and wishes freely. These limitations is supposed to be resulted from the activist or elites centered workers' culture of Minjoo-nojos, Lastly, this paper identified some problems in cultural productions and conswnptions in terms of this limited system of representation. So, this paper suggested more active cultural politics in order for examining and expanding semiotic pool and cultural resources of Minjoo-nojo movement.
