산업별 임금체계의 설계방안 - 금속노조의 사례를 중심으로

This paper aim; to plan the wage system for industrial bargaining in Korea, which has been broadly recognized as one of the most effective means to overcome the differences of working and earning condition between companies. The paper is composed of three parts. Firstly it says theoretically that the wage system should reflect not only the principle of difference and solidarity responding to the dual structure of industrial bargaining but also three categories of the class interest(employment, wage, labor process) responding to the content of industrial bargaining. As a result, the wage system should contain such factors as living coot, job, productivity, qualification. Secondly it shows the manuscript of industrial wage system including implications of current discussions on the wage system in Korea and other countries. Therefore, the wage system is planned to reflect such factors as flexibility and performance responding to the current environment of the business, Lastly it discusses on the strategy of the transition from the current company wage system to the industrial wage system depending upon the case study of Korean Metal Workers Union. It proposes that the first step of transition should be made in the basic pay to reflect the principle of solidarity.
