상업정보계열 고등학교 상업분야와 정보분야 학과 학생의 학교생활 및 진로만족도 비교 분석

Many business high schools have changed some of their curriculums and departments into those which are including information technology(IT) education according to the educational environment changes in Korea. This study analyzes if the newly generated departments affect students' school life and career satisfaction in comparison with the traditional department of business. Data used in this research is Korean Education and Employment Panel(KEEP) data of Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training. In this study, students of IT department reveal positive reaction only for good facilities. General satisfaction for their school life was appealed low level. And there were generally no significant differences in satisfaction on college education and career after high school graduation between two groups(students of IT department and traditional business department). Graduates of business department could have some problem only on one part - difficulty in job compare to knowledge learned in their school, However, Graduates of IT department could have some problem of doing different job to their school major part. As a result, students of IT department appealed less positive effect than those of business department. The result of this research says that the changes into IT department for computer graphic, design, information communication, and media education are not important. And new direction for changes should be tried for well adaptation to education environment.
