중국 다구의 디자인 특성에 관한 연구

초록
차(茶)의 종주국인 중국은 유구한 역사와 전통에서 빚어진 만큼 차(茶)의 종류도 매우 다양하다. 차(茶)의 종류에 따른 특색, 음다(飮茶)의 방법, 과정에 따른 다구의 종류도 각양각색이다. 중국의 다구는 오랜 역사를 거쳐 대중화된 차(茶)문화와 함께 발전해 왔다. 다양한 형태와 재질을 활용하여 실질적이며 효율적인 음다를 이룰 수 있도록 하면서, 동시에 시각적 즐거움을 주기 위한 조형에 있어서도 풍부한 아이디어와 세심한 배려를 읽을 수 있다. 본 연구는 오랜 세월로 축적되어온 중국 다구의 조형 디자인적 측면에 초점을 두었다. 이를 위해 차문화의 역사와 차의 기원, 변천과정, 다구의 특징에 대해 고찰하였으며, 중국의 차(茶)문화를 더욱 풍성하게 하는 중국 다구들의 드러난 부분들을 되짚어 분석하여 숨겨진 특질을 찾아내고자 하였다. 이에 따라 중국다구의 디자인 특성을 1)다양성, 2)논리적 체계, 3)실용성, 4)유희성, 5)자연주의 등 5개 요소로 구분 분석하였으며, 조형적 특성을 중점 분석함으로써 국내외적으로 차문화의 발전과 저변이 확대되고 있는 우리의 다구디자인 발전 기반으로서의 가능성을 모색하고자 하였다.
Abstract
China, a country in which tea is originated has various kinds of tea as it has long history and tradition. Features, way of drinking tea, and tea utensils vary depending on the type of tea. Chinese tea utensils evolved with popularized tea culture having undergone long history. They are designed to enable people to have tea in a substantial and efficient way by using a variety of shapes and materials and at the same time used abundant idea and careful consideration on shape to provide visual pleasure. This study focuses on design and art of Chinese tea utensils developed through long time. At first, I investigated about Chinese tea culture`s history and origin of tea, transition of tea utensils, characteristic of tea utensils for this. It aims to discover hidden properties of Chinese tea utensils by review of revealing features of Chinese tea utensils which make Chinese tea culture more abundant. Subsequently, I analyzed elements of 5 character of design in Chinese tea utensils: 1)multiplicity, 2)logical system, 3)practicality, 4)amusement 5)naturalism, and the study intended to seek the untapped potential of design in Korean tea utensils.
