파라메트릭 디자인 방식의 디지털 형태 형성

초록
오늘날, 우리의 환경은 디지털미디어의 특성을 지니며 더욱 다양한 가능성과 관계를 열어나가며 유연한 곡선의 흐름의 “총체적 유동성”(Zaha Hadid, 2008)을 표현하고 있다. 이러한 움직임은 새로운 디자인 언어로써, 갈수록 증가하는 사회의 다양성과 복잡성을 디지털미디어 시대 안에서 컴퓨터를 이용한 디자인 및 기술의 진보와 발전 위에서 체계화와 명료성을 요구한다. 디자인의 다양하고 독특한 표현은 계산 기하와 디지털 시뮬레이션을 통하여 모방의 형태형성을 벗어나 조직적이고 형태학적인 디자인 레퍼토리로 다양한 가치를 갖게 된다. 이러한 새로운 디자인 형태의 가치를 생성하는 방법 중의 하나로써 매개 변수적 패러다임은 일종의 연구 프로그램으로 이해 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 3차원 파라메트릭 디자인의 지식 베이스와 디자인 프로세스의 제안을 위하여, 디지털 미디어의 이론과 사례들의 고찰 후, 파라메트릭 디자인을 활용한 프로토타입 모델 기반 디자인 방법을 제시 한다. 파라메트릭 디자인의 패러다임은 또한, 건축, 가구, 제품 디자인은 더 이상 독립적인 사물이 아닌 환경과 공간의 하나의 요소로써 간주되며, 다양한 영역의 조합을 위하여 조율함으로써 종합적인 디자인의 의미를 부여 한다고 본다. 이는 현재의 환경과 디자인을 “체계적이고 적응적인 변형, 지속적인 차별화, 그리고 역동적이고 변화하는 형태구성”으로 모든 디자인의 과제로써 제시 하고 있다.
Abstract
Today, Our environment has a characteristic of Digital Media and expressed "Total Fluidity" which is flexible in flowing of curve as spreading various possibilities and connections. This movement as a new design language, it needs the demand for the organization and articulation of increasing societal variety and complexity with using computer in the digital age. The design in multifarious uniquely adaptive phenotype has various values as organizational and morphological design repertories without relying on mimesis. The new design can be best understood as a research programme based upon Parametric paradigm of method for morphogenesis. This research propose design knowledge base, design process and prototype modeling method by using parametric system based on examination theory and cases of digital media. It also means architecture, furniture and design production regard an important factor as comprehensive plan in environment and space for compounding and harmony. It takes design and environment penetrating into all corners of the discipline as "systematic, adaptive variation, continuous differentiation and dynamic figuration".
