The law of Product Liability (PL) was established on January 12, 2000 and has been in operation since July 1, 2002. Although considerable time was passed by after the PL law had its effect, most of small and medium companies still had difficulties in understanding and accepting the law. This study surveyed the current situation of small and medium companies in carrying out tasks with the PL law, and analyzed significant factors and costs related to the successful adoption of the law. The results of this study could help companies to follow the PL law and manage PL problems in an effective manner.
